Primarily, Fleitas PLLC focuses on assisting clients seeking to emigrate to and from the United States and Italy, for both business and personal purposes. Accordingly, our attorneys, legal professionals and our network of Italian attorneys and collaborators, both in the US and in Italy, create a seamless transition for any individual, family or business entity seeking to enter either the US or Italian territory and/or market. To this end, Fleitas PLLC assists Italian businesses and individuals seeking to relocate to the United States for business purposes or otherwise, as well as clients from around the world seeking to move to Italy, for business, retirement or other purposes.
Aside from a wide-range of business legal services, our Firm assists clients with Italian and US Immigration law matters. Our immigration and business lawyers represent clients from all over the world. Through our business and immigration practice and via our Italian-born US attorney Mr. Lorenzo Arca, Esq., our Firm has assisted clients requiring Italian law representation, by connecting clients with trustworthy Italian attorneys who are able to represent our clients in an array of Italian law matters, both here in the United States and in Italy. Through our assistance, US clients requiring Italian legal services, are able to easily communicate and navigate different roadblocks, including language barriers, that often arise when dealing in cross-border transactions.
Through our network of Italian attorneys, our Firm is able to assist US-based individuals and families, as well as clients all over the world, in preparing applications for Italian Citizenships; Italian Residencies; and Italian Visas, as well as resolving matters of US law overlapping with Italian law.
To that end, our Firm can assist clients, who have Italian ancestors, and seek to obtain Italian citizenship through their ancestors (“Jure Sanguinis”), as well as other individuals who as a result of their marriage to an Italian Citizen, seek to apply for Italian Citizenship through marriage (“Jure Matrimoni”).
We also facilitateassist clients with“Reacquisitions of Italian Cirizenship”; (3) “Naturalization to a foreign country after August 16, 1992”: (4) “Renunci[ations] [of] Italian Citizenship”; (5) obtaining all types of Italian visas; and (6) Italian Residency permits or “Permesso di Soggiorno.”
In addition to our business and immigration services, our Firm is able to connect clients with Italian attorneys able to represent Italian clients, who have been convicted of a crime in the United States, with the Treaty Transfer Program. The Program authorizes the Director of the Bureau of Prisons to transfer inmates to or from foreign countries, pursuant to the conditions of the treaty agreement which allows for such transfers.
