Lorenzo Arca is an Associate attorney with Fleitas PLLC. Mr. Arca also assists and advises clients on a wide-variety of business and corporate matters, ranging from entity formation to particularized contract drafting. Building on his Business Practice, Mr. Arca also counsels and advises clients on an array of issues relevant to the newly adopted state Medical Marijuana / Cannabis and Hemp industries and their interplay with federal law. Specifically, Mr. Arca counsels and assists clients with banking, compliance and licensing matters, as well as entity formation, contract and standard operating procedures specifically crafted for this unique space.
Prior to joining Fleitas PLLC, Mr. Arca attended Florida International University College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Mr. Arca graduated from Florida International University’s College of Law Magna Cum Laude, was honored as Salutatorian of his graduating class, and was awarded the Medallion of Distinction for Excellence in Civic Engagement for logging over 200 hours of pro bono work.
During his stay at Florida International University’s College of Law, Mr. Arca served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Cecilia M. Altonaga in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Honorable Barbara Lagoa, in the Third District Court of Appeals. Mr. Arca also served as a Staff and Senior Staff Member in the FIU Law Review and worked in the Carlos A. Costa Immigration & Human Rights Clinic.
